Bindery
Go hands-on in the bindery. As a bindery operator, you are the last stop before the product enters the mail stream. Bindery operators and technicians are responsible for cutting, folding, stitching, and gluing pages to ensure that the final product meets quality standards. A career in the bindery department requires a unique blend of technical skills, precision, and craftsmanship. Arandell also offers a bindery machine operator apprenticeship program to take your career to the next level.
Building the Perfect Catalog
The bindery department is where individual pages are assembled into finished catalogs. Binding jobs can vary depending on the type of catalog being produced and the number of pages. Bindery technicians will become proficient in creating saddle stitched, perfect bound, and square back bound catalogs.
The Last Stop Before Mailing
Arandell’s bindery department consists of technicians, machine operators, material handlers, and supervisors who work together to assemble, and prepare the catalogs for shipment.

How You’ll Contribute
As a member of our maintenance team, you play a central role in ensuring customers receive a quality product. These are the primary functions you’ll perform:
Preventative Maintenance
Conducting routine inspections and performing maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and extend the life of the machinery.
Repairs
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical or electrical issues with equipment and facilities
Safety Inspections
Performing safety checks to ensure that all equipment complies with safety regulations and standards
