State of Arandell – Summer 2019
A letter from President & CEO Brad Hoffman
June 10, 2019
As we spring into summer, bringing warmer weather and sunnier skies to our locations in Menomonee Falls, WI and Walton, KY, we thought it would be important to provide our employees, clients, prospects, partners and other key stakeholders with an update regarding our outlook for the rest of 2019.
It’s going to be yet another extremely busy year for us as we continue to hire new employees, drive more new business and grow as a company. While we are entering our 97th year in business, inside Arandell it feels more like a start-up these days. As we continue to innovate and grow, we have added a number of new faces to our leadership, mid-level and production departments to meet the changing needs of the marketplace while maintaining the high quality and service standards of Arandell.
With our “peak season” starting two months earlier than usual this year, the atmosphere around here is truly infectious. People are excited about their future with Arandell as we enter into a true transitional period for the company and our industry. With the planned merger of Quad and LSC right around the corner, we understand that the landscape is going to change. However, we believe it will be a change for the good of Arandell. In fact, looking at the larger picture, the future has never been more opportunistic.
When two entities of that magnitude merge in any industry, competing companies have an even greater opportunity to change and evolve as well – in ways they may not have previously realized. We have added to our asset platform, upgraded our facilities, rolled out a new website and expanded our social media presence to share our story and stay connected. We are not doing this as a response to how our industry is changing. But those changes provide us an unparalleled opportunity to progress and evolve in a way we have been planning for quite some time.
Our core values have always been and will always be the same. We will continue to place our largest investment in the people of Arandell – our employees, partners and clients – without whom Arandell would cease to exist. But as the great John F. Kennedy once said, “Change is the law of life and those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.”
So stay tuned and enjoy the ride because it’s only getting better as we move forward from here.
Brad Hoffman, President/CEO
